Company Profile
The Nichols family started selling woodstoves in 1981 and opened The WoodStove Warehouse. To further enhance customer service and to satisfy the needs and requests of our wood burning customers, a line of chainsaws & outdoor power products were soon added.
Numerous customer requests to rent our wood chippers & log splitters convinced us that there was a need in our area for a rental store that understands the specialized needs of Wood Burners, so we started Nichols Rental Center to fulfill those needs, as well as any other rental requests.
To better reflect the services offered, we changed our name to the NicholsStores, consisting of Nichols Fireplace & Stove Center, Nichols Outdoor Power Equipment, Nichols Rental Center and consolidated everything at one convenient location.
Nichols Fireplace & Stove Center has since grown into the largest Vermont Castings dealership in Northeast Ohio. Vermont Castings has recently designated Nichols Fireplace and Stove Center as the Premier Dealer in Northeast Ohio. We carry a complete line of wood and gas burning stoves and fireplaces from more than a dozen different manufacturers. We are now stocking Vermont Castings Gas Grills in both natural gas & propane.
Nichols Outdoor Power Equipment is one of the areas largest stocking dealers for Stihl chainsaws and power equipment, offering both sales & service.
